The club has restricted access for non-members throughout the resumption of angling whilst the lockdown is in place. To this end, the committee has taken the decision to withdraw the sale of all day tickets for the entirety of the 2020/21 season.
Winkton, Sopley Mill Stream, Sopley Main River and the Ringwood Fishery will be strictly for members only from the start of the season on June 16th. Guest tickets are currently suspended until August when their status will be reviewed again. It is anticipated that this will be extended if any government restrictions remain in place at this time. All exchange books are also suspended for a similar timeframe.
By preventing the casual use of our venues by non-members we hope to make access for our members as safe and comfortable as possible. Our still waters have been very busy since angling resumed and we anticipate our rivers also to have increased footfall on previous seasons. Our members always take priority and this measure has been in place to best serve their interests. Annual, 7 & 14 Day Membership remain open and available online, direct from our office (01202 480009) or from local tackle shops (once they fully reopen). A full list can be found here Tackle Shops
Other restrictions that remain in place are:
– All game matches and coaching sessions remain suspended
– All course matches remain suspended and the Over 55s Series has been cancelled
– Carp anglers are currently limited to 1 on 2 off or 2 on 5 off for night fishing, although extra nights may be booked after noon if swims remain available for that night during their ‘off’ period
