Nea Meadows Lake

Brief description of fishery:

This is a small intimate venue which can be fun to fish. On visiting the venue, the first thing you will notice is the large number of carp cruising the surface. Large catches of carp are on the cards, which can be caught on a variety of different methods. There are a large number of skimmer bream, roach and hybrids which can be fun on light float tackle and a few tench, perch and rudd. The venue is situated in a public common, so is very popular with dog walkers. Due to the over-friendly nature of the ducks, no floating baits are allowed. Part of the lake is nature reserve and is, therefore, out of bounds to club members. A great water for juniors.
