Christchurch Angling Club personal data privacy policy

 

Here at Christchurch Angling Club we take the privacy of our members data seriously and will only use your personal information (supplied when completing your membership form) for the purposes of our legitimate interests in operating the club. Your personal information will not be passed to third parties without your consent. We will always comply with the general data protection regulation (GDPR) when dealing with your personal data. The club has implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect your personal data from loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration or destruction. Should you terminate your membership your personal details will be held on our database for a one year period before being destroyed. The purpose of retaining your data is to make it easier for you should you wish to reapply for membership. If you would rather the club did not hold this information then phone, write or mail the club office and express your wishes.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
If you were younger than 16 years old when applying for junior membership then you must inform your parent / guardian that you have supplied personal data to the club.
