Brief description of fishery:
A productive and picturesque stretch of river which faces and extends beyond the downstream boundary of the Manor Farm fishery. On the car park bank a few pegs are available within the compound and down to the bridge. Fishing on the far bank is downstream for a short distance or upstream, past the weir and into the slower, deeper section where the banks steepen and the main flow runs enticingly down the nearside.
Large chub and barbel are the main species targeted, backed up with specimen roach, dace, bream, carp and pike. There is little angling pressure on the swims along this stretch and once you are through the initial vegetation beneath the bridge the bank opens up (upstream) with grazing land offering numerous, easily accessible pegs
