Brief description of fishery:
A hugely productive fishery that is renowned for its specimen fish. The barbel top 17lb and 8lb plus chub have been reported. There is a good head of 3-6lb chub which respond well to both float and static tactics. Excellent roach, perch and dace back these up with double figure bream, large carp and specimen pike also present. Sea trout are not uncommon to coarse anglers fishing beneath the weirs.
The stretch is hugely varied with two weirs, shallow runs, deep pools and some stunning bends present. Tree cover is plentiful, offering almost every type of swim imaginable to the visiting angler. Access is superb with established paths running along the length of the fishery.
