Brief description of fishery:
Whitesheet is our put and take trout fishery consisting of three lakes set in 7 acres of stunning countryside. There is a meeting hut adjacent to the middle lake, which has electricity, a microwave and a kettle which members are welcome to use (bring your own water though). This hut is convenient for shelter from the elements, a place to have your lunch or to recount stories of the one that got away!
The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbows averaging around 2lb in size; and there are the occasional elusive brownies of between 3 and 5 pounds.
Chestnuts and Halfway lakes operate as exclusive catch and kill lakes and Lodge Lake offers the option of catch and release with the purchase of a sporting ticket or an Early morning / evening ticket.
The fishing is run on a not for profit basis so offers very good value trout fishing. Members must purchase a valid ticket using the Clubmate app before entering the fishery.
