Membership & Payment Information

Full Membership

Christchurch Angling Club membership runs from the date you join for 365 days. This gives a full 12 months of membership whatever time of year you join. All memberships include salmon and sea trout fishing on the many venues where we have migratory fish angling rights (on the Hampshire Avon, Dorset Stour and Frome). Alternatively,  migratory fish membership is a standalone option for those wishing to fish for salmon and sea trout only.

A wide range of payment options are available, including interest free monthly payments. Any full member can add x2 under 14s to their membership free of charge, enabling unlimited access to minors when fishing with a parent or guardian.

You can join by simply calling our office on 01202 480009, via local tackle shops  (details here) or online here

The full 2022 price list for new members can be found here: New member Price list 2023

Short Term Membership

In addition to full membership we offer 7 and 14 day membership aimed at those who travel from afar to fish our waters or are limited to a short window of opportunity throughout the year.

These run for 7/14 consecutive days with full fishing rights on all our waters. Night tickets are bookable in same way as for annual members.

If you purchase a holiday membership and subsequently decide to upgrade your purchase to an annual membership within 4 weeks of the  end date then the price will be fully deducted from your annual fee.

7 day membership cost £70 for adults, £20 for children

14 day membership costs £90 for adults, £20 for children

You can purchase short term membership by calling our office on 01202 480009

 Existing Members

Existing members can add numerous sundries to their membership. They can also invite guests to fish selected waters, pay for individual night fishing permits or buy tickets to take trout from our Whitesheet complex.

Night Permits

We charge £20 per night to members wishing to fish an individual night at one of our specimen carp waters. Alternatively, members can purchase a Season Night Permit that covers 12 months of night fishing and a 3rd rod permit (where applicable) for £160.

Numbers of these permits are capped at 220 and are only available directly through our office.

All anglers (whether holding an SNP or not) must pre-book their night fishing via our booking system. This ensures that there are always plenty of pegs available for night anglers with numbers limited to roughly 50% of the swims available on each water.

Guest Tickets

Guest tickets are available for all our waters apart from Spinnaker Lake, Hucklesbrook Lake, Winkton and Tincleton.

These can be purchased online or at local tackle shops.

Coarse fishing guest tickets cost £12

Migratory fishing guest tickets cost £25

Trout Tickets

Our Whitesheet complex compromises of x3 stocked trout lakes where members purchase tickets dependant on the number of fish they wish to take.

 Dog Permits

Members can purchase a dog permit to take their loyal friend to a selection of our waters with them. Full details can be found here

All member’s tickets can be purchased and/or booked here

Payment Options

Although membership of the club represents fantastic value we are very aware that for many the fees can be a hefty amount from a single wage packet. As a result we have implemented a range of payment options which will hopefully make it affordable for all. As a new option we are delighted to establish monthly payment options allowing members to spread the cost of a year’s membership interest free over 12 months. This makes the monthly cost roughly the equivalent of a day ticket! Listed below are the methods we have made available:

Recurring Monthly Payments

– Via monthly direct debit through Go Cardless

– Via monthly Standing Order (available to members of 3 years or more)

Both of these options are only available directly though our office

Single Annual Payment

– Cash in full at the office

– Cheque in full at the office or via post to the office

– Single payment in full via debit card at the office or over the phone

– Single payment in full at our selected tackle shops by all these methods (credit cards may not be accepted at some outlets)

– Via direct bank transfer over the phone with the office

We hope that by offering such a diverse range of methods we have made membership of the club both affordable and justifiable for all anglers. If you have any questions please contact the office.
