To protect against Koi Herpesvirus (KHV) the committee will be reinforcing the “dry nets” policy as stated in your rule book. Insisting on dry nets, mats and slings is the safest way for us to protect out fisheries. Please ensure you have thoroughly dried all your equipment before entering any CAC fishery. UV rays kill the virus so drying items outside is the greatest thing you can do to increase biosecurity.

Between 1st June to 30th September a keepnet ban is in place on all waters.

No excuse will be accepted for any member not following this process. Any member arriving at a water with any damp equipment will be asked to leave and will face subsequent disciplinary action.

We all want to protect our waters and fish stocks so appreciate the assistance of all our members in helping to ensure these practices are followed.
