Work has been underway to ensure our venues are in good condition before the big kick off on June 16th.

The car park at Horseport was scraped this week and paths re-cut to make access far easier. A further 15 tonnes of hoggin will be laid to make sure the car park stays in good condition all year round.

This weekend (13th-14th) will see extensive works at Winkton to relay the gravel path along the old river as well as strimming and grass cutting to make access better than ever. If you want to volunteer on these works just email the club and we will pass your details on to our River Fisheries Manager, Adrian.

On Monday 15th June we will be undertaking work to thin the lilies on Wainsford Lake. Although this will concentrate mainly on the closed swims (4-12) there may be disruption and work conducted all around the lake. We will also be repairing damaged platforms (so there may be some banging).

Plans to thin the lilies on the top pond at Wedgehill are currently on hold due to low dissolved oxygen levels.
