Our annual agreement with Whinwhistle Lakes recently expired and, as previously, we carefully studied the usage data recorded by the venue compared to the cost of our agreement.
Unfortunately, this highlighted that very few members used the venue and the ‘cost per visit’ was deemed to not be the best use of club revenue given the substantial investments we are currently making on other waters.
Whinwhistle is a wonderful venue with hugely proactive, supportive owners. Sadly, it seems it was just too far from our main catchment area to achieve the footfall it deserves. We wish all involved with the fishery the very best for the future.
